Brian is a Diploma Qualified Independent Financial Practitioner, with a specialist focus on pensions and investments. Brian has recently been rated as one of the top 200 Independent Financial Advisers in UK.
In his spare time, Brian is a School Governor, sits on the Executive of Trowbridge Chamber of Commerce, and also leads one of the UK’s largest Army Cadet Force Detachments of enthusiastic 13-18 year-olds, based in central Trowbridge, supported by a staff of 6 highly experienced (and very patient) Army ex-Regular and ex-Reserve instructors!
Previously, Brian’s career path found him leading volunteer teams in the Middle East, qualifying as an Alpine Ski Instructor and racer, and being awarded a place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
After the Army, Brian went on to enjoy a career in senior management and director level positions for a number of software and cloud computing companies, including 2 successful start-ups before moving into Financial Services.

Be warned the following companies appear to be linked and personally I would avoid them; "Pension Matters Associates Ltd" get "YardStick Marketing" to get a pension valuation done for you, then they have "QuickDox" go to your home to get a copy of your passport and get you to sign 15 pages authorizing the transfer of your pension to "Advalorem Value Asset Fund", part of their "Green Church Pension Scheme" which is part of company called "5G" and so the fiddle continues.....
