Another busy month has passed, and we have some more team successes to share with you!
First, congratulations to Jess who has completed her Diploma in Financial Planning Advice (DipFA), and to Bobby who has just one exam left to go. It’s safe to say these qualifications are no mean feat, and they have both worked extremely hard over the course of the last year. The technical knowledge accumulated in investments, pensions, trusts and tax is vast and invaluable.
Brian completed his 2-year Master’s (MSc) degree in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility Analysis and was just a few points shy of achieving a first. The technical study never stops for this one, and his next qualification is Long Term Care Planning as a prerequisite to Chartered after which he plans to start a PhD. The minimum Continuing Professional Development hours for financial advisers is 35 per year; Brian has already completed over 100 hours of CPD at the halfway point. This ensures you get the most up to date, expert financial planning.
Thanks to reviews from clients, we have been shortlisted for the UK’s Top 200 Adviser Awards! This is the gold standard for the UK’s 20,000 financial advisers, and we feel privileged to have been selected from many others. If you would like to leave us any client feedback about your experiences we would welcome this at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Perhaps we have helped you to achieve a particular goal, exceeded your expectations, or perhaps you just had a friendly voice on the telephone…..either way we would love to hear from you as this all helps to shape the service we provide, give credit where it’s due and continue to ensure client outcomes are at the heart of what we do! The best Top-Rated Firms are due to be published in the 2020 Guide to the UK’s Top Rates Financial Advisers in The Times newspaper and elsewhere, so keep your eyes peeled!
Finally, back in September of this year, we all hopped on the train to Birmingham to attend one of the largest UK Financial Planning conferences, BACK2Y, where Brian was one of 6 (all international) speakers, attended by 450 financial planning firms. The focus at BACK2Y is ‘Lifestyle Planning’ (you may have heard us use this phrase before!) which, in a product-driven profession, is something we take a lot of pride in. Brian is also a keynote speaker at the sold-out ‘Humans Under Management’ conference at the Royal College of Physicians in early December.
We hope you enjoy this month’s blogs and getting to know what we have been up to.
Same time next month!
