Another year has passed, and we are proud to say another summer party has been successfully held for 2019. This is the third summer party we have held and it’s safe to say it is the absolute highlight of our year and one which we all look forward to.
This is not only to bring our friends (aka clients) together but to also celebrate the successes we have seen them achieve this year. It is our privilege to help clients plan their dreams and see them become a reality!
As a local, independent business we believe in supporting other local businesses in the community, for that reason we chose to hold our event at The Glove Factory in Holt having previously held it at Hartley Farm, another beautiful location.
The weather was a tad gloomy, but as the welcome glasses were being laid out, we were not going to let that dampen our spirits! Brian had taken a hop skip and a jump back from the lakes of Italy, joined by his lovely wife and co-Director, Lisa.
As guests started arriving it was a delight to see whole families including children and a few people who were thinking of becoming clients were brought along. Bobby and Jess also revelled in the opportunity to get to know clients they had not had the opportunity of meeting before.
Many also got to experience the delights of our magician, Damien. He was brilliant and at one point he had encased a card we had signed in a block of ice….as to how…. we still have no idea?!
Food was served and everyone enjoyed the delicious spread Kate, Ed and their team had put on for us. They had been superb in catering for a range of dietary requirements, also, there was plenty for everyone and the mini desserts were a real treat for all. Following this, we had our annual group photo and thank you to my husband Ollie, who many of you will have spoken with, for just about managing to squeeze everyone in!
The final dance of the evening rolled around and there was hardly anyone left in their seats including those who had professed to ‘not being a dancer’ also getting involved and having a brilliant time.
As the evening drew to a close and we said goodbye to the final party animals (you know who you are!) everyone left with a gift bag in hand complete with locally produced Bradford on Avon fudge by Megs Cottage which we hope you enjoyed.
We are already looking forward to next year’s event and cannot wait to see you all again, with your dancing shoes at the ready!
Next month we’ll be sharing achievements in qualifications, including Brian having achieved a Master’s (MSc).
PS: A special thank you to those of you who sent messages and wrote lovely cards of appreciation, all of which are shared with the entire team.
