Brian is the face of Jones Hill and our principal Fiduciary Financial Planner (a regulated Independent Financial Adviser, with a difference) and a Pension Transfer Specialist. With over a decade of experience in financial planning, Brian is an expert in making sense of finances: a fact reflected in the awards he has received in recent years.

Brian joined us in 2006, when we were based in Trowbridge, before our subsequent move to Bradford on Avon. Over the years he’s become well known for his integrity and down-to-earth approach, with his clients prepared to travel long distances to see him. Brian’s specialist areas are helping local people, those who have served and their families, as well as divorcees and widows.

At play

When he’s not spending time with his young family, Brian can be found at his local Crossfit gym or training for endurance events such as the gruelling 24km SAS FanDance (twice across Pen-y-Fan peak, whilst carrying up 35lb-60lb of extra weight).

Brian’s knee injury, acquired in his military days, didn’t stop him from training and qualifying as an Alpine Ski Instructor. Brian takes time out each ski season to teach in Bavaria and Italy.

You might know this, but Brian used to be a Church organist. Nowadays, he could probably play all the right notes, but not necessarily in the right order.
